Quienes somos? | Who are we?
Rootz DJs representa al duo Bas y Koen, dos Holandeses enganchados a la buena música y por compartirla con su publico. Ambos DJs se mudaron a España a finales de los 2000. En Valencia es donde descubrieron una pasión compartida que no querían dejar atrás en los países bajos: trasmitir la energía y el entusiasmo que sienten hacia la música que pinchan a su publico.
El nombre Rootz refiere a nuestra inspiración de música de los años 60 hasta la época, lo que escucharas en nuestra música. Nos dejamos inspirar por música de todo genero porque no disfrutamos de un solo genero: nuestro criterio mas importante es que la música nos guste y que sea bailable. El cumplido mas grande que podemos recibir es cuando tenemos a nuestro publico disfrutando y bailando con caras sonrientes.
Rootz DJs is the DJ duo Bas and Koen, two Dutchmen that are addicted to good music and sharing this with their public. Both DJ’s moved to Spain by the end of the 2000’s. In Valencia they found out about their shared passion. A passion that they couldn’t leave behind in The Netherlands: passing on the energy and enthusiasm that they feel during a set to the public.
The name ‘Rootz’ refers to our inspiration of music which is from the sixties up until nowadays music, which you can hear in our music. We are inspired by every type of music, we don’t just enjoy one single type of music. One of the most important things is that we like the music and that people can dance to it. The biggest compliment that we can receive is that the people are enjoying our music and dancing to it with smiles all over their faces.

Tenemos una predilección para la música funk, disco, soul y house que predominan en nuestros sets. Tenemos ojo para el publico y la ocasión y por lo tanto encontraras música desde la época 60’s hasta la época hasta música Holandesa y Española.
We love to play music like funk, disco, soul and house and this is what will dominate through our set. We have an eye for the audience, the occasion and therefor you will hear music from the sixties to now and from Dutch music up until Spanish beats.
